An Upper East Side Icon Reborn
Opening 2024
Reimagining an icon
Built in 1926 as a residence hotel, the original Surrey was home to many of New York’s most eccentric celebrities. JFK, Bette Davis and Claudette Colbert are just a few famous faces that recognised the allure of exceptional and discreet service here. Now, building on storied past, we've restored the hotel's glamour and sophistication, making it an icon of the future.
Luxury living and stylish spaces
The 16-story building will boast 70 guest rooms, 30 suites and 14 residences, which draw inspiration from the hotel's illustrious history and surroundings. Four signature suites will be inspired by the bridges of Central Park, with sublime comfort and spectacular elegance at its core.
Casa Tua comes to New York
The treasured Miami Beach hotspot is a celebrity favourite, which will bring its Italian flair to New York for the first time. From the restaurant and bar to the private members’ club on the second floor, Casa Tua will provide guests here with buzzing spaces to delight, savour and enjoy.
A world of wellness
Step into our world of wellness — a jewel-box spa in the heart of Manhattan. Featuring two treatment rooms, a steam room and sauna, and a gym designed by AMP, every detail is dedicated to immersing you in a realm of self-care.
The real New York
Outside of Midtown, you will no doubt discover the real New York. That's why we're opening in Manhattan's elegant Upper East Side, a leafy home to the city's elite. Surrounded by high-end department stores, luxury boutiques and must-see museums, The Surrey, A Corinthia Hotel will play a starring role in the city's most desirable address.
