About this offer

The Supervisor is responsible for delivering a warm welcome and providing friendly, professional service while offering a diverse selection of food and beverages to all our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for complete setup before and after service, guest service and supporting back of the house.

Key responsibilities 

  • Ensure the implementation of SOPs and service excellence
  • Supervise service organisation (mise en place) and table allocation
  • Provide personalised service and recognise regular/VIP clients
  • Manage reservations and optimise restaurant occupancy
  • Support the training and development of the team
  • Oversee punctuality, attendance and staff performance
  • Ensure cleanliness and restaurant organisation
  • Ensure proper management of payments and P.O.S. operations
  • Supervise cash closing and menu/wine list updates
  • Maximise restaurant occupancy and revenue
  • Promote strategic sales and enhance the guest experience

Whist working for the Company there will be access to a wide variety of confidential information concerning the Company, guests and employees. 
It is vital that all such information remains confidential and must not be disclosed to anyone outside the Company, guests and employees, unless otherwise stated. 

 

Health & safety

  • Ensure awareness of and compliance with safe working practices as outlined in the Health and Safety Act and applicable workplace regulations. This includes understanding any specific hazards present in the work environment
  • Wearing appropriate protective clothing, as provided or recommended by the Company, is mandatory
  • Report any defects in the building, plant, or equipment in accordance with hotel procedures
  • Immediately report any accidents involving staff, guests, or visitors, following the correct procedures
  • Attend mandatory Fire, Health, and Safety training and maintain full knowledge of and adherence to all related rules and protocols

  • Fluent in spoken English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and professional team environment
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, ensuring smooth restaurant operations
