About this offer
Ensure the smooth check-in and checkout of guests and maintain and exceed the Corinthia Hotel standards. Report any comments, VIP arrivals or departures and other issues as they occur throughout the day to the Front Office Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager and Lead Receptionist. To ensure that the standards of the division meet and exceed the quality standards set, up sell and cross sell at all times.
Key Responsabilities
- Warmly welcome and greet guests in a professional manner.
- Provide information about the hotel, its services, and local attractions.
- Anticipate and promptly respond to guest needs and requests.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Address and resolve issues to ensure complete guest satisfaction.

Whist working for the Company there will be access to a wide variety of confidential information concerning the Company, guests and employees.
It is vital that all such information remains confidential and must not be disclosed to anyone outside the Company, guests and employees, unless otherwise stated.
Health & Safety
- To be aware of and comply with safe working practices as stipulated by the Health and Safety Act and as applicable to your place of work. This will include the incumbent’s awareness of any specific hazards at the workplace.
- The wearing of appropriate protective clothing provided by or recommended by the Company will be obligatory
- To report any defects in the building, plant or equipment according to hotel procedure
- To ensure that any accidents to staff, guests or visitors are reported immediately in accordance with correct procedures
- To attend statutory Fire, Health & Safety training and to be fully conversant with and abide by all rules concerning
As the hotel’s level of business varies considerably, there is a need for flexibility in attitude, approach and working hours.

Talent profile
Experience
- Previous guest exposure in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry desired
Skills & Knowledge
- Fluent in English, any additional language desired
- Microsoft Office, PMS such as Opera, Internet
- Knowledge of the guest internet access (both wired connection and wireless), television systems, iPod docking stations, in-room media hub and entertainment systems (and any other in room technology) and telephone system
Requirements
- Diploma for Hospitality related studies desired
