Assistant Executive Housekeeper
Corinthia Budapest, located in the heart of the city, is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support the Executive Housekeeper.
Key responsabilities:
- Act as the Executive Housekeeper in their absence, ensuring seamless departmental operations
- Lead and coach the Housekeeping and Laundry teams in their daily duties, ensuring prompt and high-quality service that meets company standards
- Monitor third-party contractors providing Housekeeping-related services, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and maintaining consistent service quality
- Engage with suppliers to stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in chemical usage and housekeeping supplies
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces, raising maintenance requests as necessary and ensuring timely resolution of pending tasks
- Oversee in-house laundry operations, ensuring proper care of the hotel’s textile assets and providing clean, high-quality linens for the hotel and restaurants.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor periodic and seasonal deep cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces, working closely with the Engineering Department to align with preventative maintenance schedules
- Maintain cleanliness and restocking of in-room minibars, ensuring accurate posting of consumptions and effective inventory management
- Oversee the care of indoor plants, floral arrangements, and seasonal decorations in guest rooms and common areas
- Implement preventative pest control measures across guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces
Manage Housekeeping inventory, including uniforms and operational supplies for the entire hotel - Uphold the highest standards of Quality Assurance and Guest Satisfaction in alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure strict adherence to all applicable company policies and procedures within the department
- Perform duty management shifts as required
The ideal candidate:
- At least 3-5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role in a 5-star property
- Qualification in hospitality
- Previous Laundry management experience
- Excellent command of written & spoken Hungarian and English
- Experience working with Opera PMS System
- Good understanding of housekeeping management systems & processes
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to manage and coordinate a team
