With its crystal clear Mediterranean waters, excellent underwater visibility, fascinating marine life and exciting caves and wrecks, Malta's little sister island, Gozo is very popular with divers and underwater photographers alike.
Gozo has the honour to host this year’s edition of the renowned international underwater photo and video competition “32. Kamera Louis Boutan”. The competition will take place from 29th April until 6th May 2012 and is organised by national German Diving Association VDST in co-operation with the Gozitan dive centre “Nautic Team”, managed by Germans Heike Merz and Thomas Zurawski.
Under the umbrella of “32. Kamera Louis Boutan” the German championship for underwater photographers and video artists take place at the same time. This can be considered as the most renowned German underwater photo and video competition with a very longstanding tradition.
Participants from all over the world are invited to join in “32. Kamera Louis Boutan”.
