Annual Motoring Show

This is the biggest annual motoring event in Malta organized for The President of Malta by acclaimed motoring journalist Tonio Darmanin to raise funds for the Community Chest Fund.

2012 is the seventh edition and the fourth to be held at the Malta International Airport. Each year the event has grown in importance and in popularity with the 2010 edition attracting international participants such as Lamborghini with the Reventon and the Murcielago and Mercedes with the SLS AMG. The event drew more than 13,000 visitors and it generated over €80,000 for charity.
In 2011, the event became even bigger gaining the acknowledgement of Mr Horatio Pagani who was the guest of honour at the event, together with his family, and brought over a Zonda from his own personal collection. Bugatti also supported the event and presented the Veyron Grand Sport, Lotus participated with the Evora S and Toyota with the Arctic Challenge Hilux used by Top Gear to reach the North Pole. This was by far the most prestigious and successful motoring event ever held in Malta and apart from attracting over 14,000 visitors, it generated the biggest single individual donation to Charity ever registered in Malta, that of Euro146,090.

The local club participation brings together a vast and diverse range of vehicles from classics and military vehicles to modern modified cars as well as many single brand clubs. Biker clubs are also very active and a massive presence of bikes contributing to a total of over 1000 vehicles on display is also presented.
