Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal - Budapest Receives Investor in People Recognition

The International Hotel Investment owned Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal in Budapest, Hungary, has been assessed and recognised as having achieved the Investors in People Standard. is the proud recipient of the prestigious ’Investor in People’ award, a UK based international business standard that is conferred on organizations that achieve the highest levels of HR procedures within their operations.

 provides a framework for improving business performance and competitiveness through a planned approach to setting and communicating business objectives and developing people to meet these objectives.
 
This is an internationally recognized standard given to. The standard requires that all parts of HR practice be comprehensively managed and interlinked, this includes induction programs, training plans, feedback and appraisals, communication, succession planning, evaluation and business planning. These practices must apply to all employees and there must be clear links that training and development plans are working towards the achievement of business goals as laid down in the hotel organization business plan.

Once the hotel was ready for assessment there was a 4 day audit where all practises were reviewed and there were many interviews with managers and employees to ensure that procedures were comprehensive and thorough. On completion of this audit, the hotel received acknowledgement that the award would be granted and celebrations were organized with all employees in early march.

Investors in People is the national Standard which sets out a level of good practice for training and development of people to achieve business goals.
