Yusupov’s Palace
How about visiting the unique and mysterious yellow building known as Yusupov’s Palace. This lies on a quiet stretch of the Moika River and was once the residence of the wealthy and respected Yusupov family. In 1916 it also saw one of the most dramatic episodes in Russia's history - the murder of Grigory Rasputin. His death proved to be an almost greater mystery than his life had been. It is said that he had gained control over the Tsar’s family through his alleged super natural powers.
