Corinthia Hotels strengthens ties with American Express

Luxury hotel brand Corinthia Hotels announces that its entire portfolio of five-star hotels has joined the prestigious ‘American Express 2011 Preferred Extras Hotel Program’ for the European, Middle-Eastern and African regions (EMEA). The featured hotels include the company’s newly opened ‘trophy’ hotel in the English capital, the Corinthia Hotel London, steps away from Trafalgar Square.
Together with its own recently launched new website and Global Distribution Code (IA), the Corinthia Hotels portfolio will now also be able to leverage and benefit from the considerable power and extensive reach of the American Express (Amex) booking system.
In addition to strengthening its long standing relations with the leading Amex brand, the partnership will help support revenue generation for all Corinthia hotels through a consistent increase in market share. It will also promote brand awareness and a higher visibility in the GDS for the fast expanding hotel brand, affording travel agents a much improved access to all Corinthia properties.
