President George Abela at Corinthia Annual Dinner

President George Abela was the guest of honour at the annual dinner of the Corinthia Group held at the Corinthia Hotel St George’s Bay.
Mr Alfred Pisani, Corinthia Group Chairman addressed more than 100 executives from Corporate Office, CHI the hotel operators and QPM the project management arm of the company together with a number of consultants to the Group. All the General Managers of Corinthia-managed hotels from fourteen locations were also present.
Mr Pisani in his address referred to the extraordinary events in Libya and paid tribute to the Corinthia colleagues at Corinthia Hotel Tripoli and at Palm City for their bravery and commitment, who remained at their post throughout the turbulent eight month period in Tripoli. Mr Pisani dwelt on the importance of striving for excellence in standards and stated that the Corinthia Hotel London which opened earlier this year will serve as the benchmark for hotels bearing the Corinthia brand.
Mr Pisani thanked President Abela for his work on the Community Chest fund and presented a donation. President George Abela thanked Mr Pisani and stated that Corinthia represented a shining example of Maltese international enterprise.
