Corinthia Hotel Prague Welcomes Czech World Champion Ice Hockey Team

The five-star Corinthia Hotel Prague, official hotel partner of the Czech National Ice Hockey Team, proudly welcomed back the newly-crowned 2010 World Champions squad following its victory parade on Prague’s Old Town square, having beaten the Russian Federation team in the final to clinch the coveted trophy.
On arrival at the Corinthia Hotel Prague for the evening’s celebrations, the team players, led by their coach and mentor Vladimir Ružicka, team captain Tomáš Rolínek and Stanley Cup Champion Jaromír Jagr, were warmly greeted and given a standing ovation at the door by the hotel’s staff complement headed by general manager and CHI Hotels & Resorts vice-president for western and central Europe Stefan Buchs.
Following the official welcome in front of the hotel, the team was treated to a lavish dinner celebration at the hotel’s The Grill restaurant, with a special menu prepared by executive chef Roman Dolejš.
Congratulating the team, Stefan Buchs commented: “We are extremely proud of our year long relationship with the Czech Ice hockey Federation and we are very honoured to be welcoming the national team once more at the Corinthia Hotel Prague, this time as undisputed World Champions.”
